Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and [Company name] Ltd ("we", "us") for using MobReady. By creating an account you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.

1. The service

MobReady lets you store copies of your work certificates, track their expiry dates, receive reminders, record trips and share your certificates using secure links.

MobReady is not a training provider and is not linked to OPITO, Vantage or any certification body. Copies stored here are not official records. Always check your official records and the requirements of your employer or client.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or over and give accurate details.
• Keep your password safe. If you think someone else has used your account, change your password and tell us.
• Only use "Keep me logged in" on a device that only you use.

3. What you upload

• You must only upload your own certificates and information, and they must be genuine.
• You keep ownership of everything you upload. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people you share it with, only so we can run the service.
• You are responsible for checking that expiry dates are entered correctly. Reminders are based on the dates you give us.
• You choose who to send share links to. Once someone has opened a link and downloaded files, we can't control what they do with them.

4. Free trial and subscription

• New accounts get a 14 day free trial. If you don't cancel before it ends, your subscription starts and you'll be charged £3.99 a month, including VAT where it applies.
• Payments are taken by Stripe each month on the same date until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from the Me page in the app. You'll keep full access until the end of the month you've paid for. We don't give refunds for part months, but this doesn't affect your legal rights.
• If a payment fails or you cancel, your data stays in your account, but share links and reminders are paused until your subscription starts again.
• If we change the price, we'll tell you at least 30 days before. You can cancel before the new price applies.

5. Your right to cancel

Under UK consumer law you can cancel within 14 days of starting a paid subscription. As the service starts straight away, if you cancel in that time we may keep a fair amount for the days you've used it.

6. Fair use

Please don't misuse the service. That includes trying to access other people's accounts or files, uploading anything harmful or illegal, or trying to break or overload the system. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

7. Availability

We work hard to keep MobReady running and your files safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We recommend you keep your own copies of important certificates.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Otherwise, we are not responsible for lost work, missed trips or other losses caused by an expired certificate, a missed reminder or the service being unavailable. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Me page. We may close an account if these terms are broken, and will tell you why where we can.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If the changes are important, we'll email you before they take effect.

11. The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
