What is MobReady?
A simple web app for offshore workers. It keeps all your tickets in one place, reminds you before they expire and lets you send them to a recruiter or company in one secure link.
Do I need to download an app?
No. It runs in your phone's browser. On iPhone, open it in Safari, tap Share and then "Add to Home Screen". On Android, open it in Chrome and tap "Install" or "Add to Home screen". It then opens like any other app.
Which certs can I add?
Any of them. BOSIET / FOET, MIST and Medical are quick picks, and you can type the name of anything else, such as GWO, CA EBS, HUET, rigging tickets or trade cards.
What files can I upload?
PDFs and photos (JPG, PNG or HEIC from your phone camera). One file per cert, and you can replace it whenever you get a new one.
Sharing your certs
How does a share link work?
You choose which certs to include (all of them are ticked to start with) and whether to show your Vantage number. We create a secure link you can send by text, WhatsApp or email. Whoever opens it sees your name, Vantage number and each cert with its expiry date, and can download them one by one or all together as a zip.
Does the recruiter need an account?
No. They just open the link.
How long does a link last?
Each link works for one visit, or until its time limit runs out (for example 7 days), whichever comes first. After that it stops working. You can make a new one at any time.
Can I see if my link has been opened?
Yes. The Links page shows each link you've made and whether it's been opened. You can also choose to get an email when it happens.
Can I cancel a link I sent by mistake?
Yes. Cancel it from the Links page and it will stop working straight away.
Reminders
When will I get reminders?
By email, 60 days and 30 days before each cert expires. They're sent at 9am UK time.
Can I turn reminders off?
Yes, for each cert. Just untick "Send me reminders" on that cert.
Payments and your account
How much does it cost?
£3.99 a month after a 14 day free trial. One plan with everything included.
How can I pay?
By debit or credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payments are handled securely by Stripe, so we never see or store your card details.
How do I cancel?
Go to the Me page in the app and tap "Manage subscription". You can cancel there in a couple of taps.
What happens to my certs if I cancel?
They stay in your account. Share links and reminders are paused until you restart your subscription. If you want everything removed, you can delete your account.
Can I get a copy of all my data?
Yes. From the Me page you can download all your details and files, or delete your account and everything in it.
Security
Who can see my certificates?
Only you, and anyone you send a share link to while that link is still active. Files are kept in private storage that can't be reached directly from the internet.
Is MobReady linked to OPITO or Vantage?
No. MobReady is an independent app. It stores copies of your certificates and your Vantage number for your convenience. It does not replace official training records.
